Pour Moiré — Full Ingredient Transparency
We show
our work.
Every ingredient in every scent, listed in full — INCI name, concentration, and why it's there. No proprietary blends hidden behind a single word. This page is the complete record referenced on every Pour Moiré label.
The base
Every formula starts with MCT oil and isopropyl myristate — chosen for how they carry scent, absorb cleanly, and stay stable without refrigeration.
The molecules
Ambroxide, Hedione, Iso E Super — these are the aroma molecules that give each scent lift, depth, and longevity. Named here, not hidden.
The allergens
All fragrance allergens present above 0.001% in the finished product are declared here — in compliance with Canadian cosmetic regulations effective April 2026.
| INCI name | Role in formula |
|---|---|
| Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil | Primary carrier. Fractionated MCT — lightweight, odourless, absorbs without grease. Chosen for skin compatibility and stability. |
| Isopropyl Myristate | Secondary carrier and slip agent. Reduces the oily feel of MCT, improves scent throw, and acts as solvent for aroma molecules. |
| Woodland Themes Parfum | Fragrance blend. Provides the green, woody base note that anchors the citrus top. Listed as Parfum per INCI convention for proprietary blends. |
| Citrus Grandis Peel Oil | Cold-pressed grapefruit peel oil. The bright, slightly bitter citrus top note. |
| Methyl Dihydrojasmonate | Hedione — a jasmine-derived aroma molecule. Adds transparency and a soft floral diffusion that lifts the entire accord without adding a floral scent. |
| Citrus Aurantium Dulcis Peel Oil | Cold-pressed sweet orange peel oil. Adds warmth and roundness to the citrus heart, softening the sharper grapefruit note. |
| Citrus Aurantium Bergamia Fruit Oil | Bergamot essential oil. Provides the characteristic citrus-floral bridge — the aromatic quality that keeps this from reading as a simple fruit scent. |
| Musk Parfum | Clean musk blend. Adds lasting softness and skin-closeness in the dry-down. Listed as Parfum per INCI convention. |
| Tetramethyl Acetyloctahydronaphthalenes | Iso E Super — a cedar-derived aroma molecule with a unique woody, slightly metallic character. Used for diffusion, projection, and a subtle textured depth. |
| Ambroxide | Ambroxan — the key skin-scent molecule. Binds to skin receptors to create warmth and a lasting impression. Note: olfactory adaptation is normal — you will stop noticing it; others will not. |
| Tocopherol | Vitamin E. Antioxidant added to protect carrier oils from oxidation and extend shelf life. Not a fragrance ingredient. |
